VIASUE Setup Instructions

    Power off your race computer

    Remove all components from the packaging and inspect them for physical damage. 

    If anything appears physically damaged please do not delay and contact us for further instructions

    Although housing is professional secured, take care of the installed sensors & underside wiring

    Install your new sensor track and the light bridge into your layout.( not required for software setup )

    You will notice a notched area in the protective wire cover under the track. 

    This is used with great care to redirect the cable through the table top or leave as is out the side

    DO NOT CRIMP OR BIND CABLE(S) IN A HARD RIGHT ANGLE 

    A GENTLE ANGLE/CURVE IS PROPER FOR THE SLOT CAR TRACK LAP COUNTING TIMER

    Install the light bridge by centering front to back and side to side over the sensors installed. 

    Normally the power cable of the light bridge is placed on the same side as the track sensor cable.

    Most systems will power the light bridge via the tan box ( Micro Processor / USB box )

    With the PC off, Plug the USB cable into the micro-processor unit= (tan box)

    With the PC off, Plug the PC end of the USB cable into your PC

*YOU MUST ALWAYS RACE WITH THE SAME PORT THAT THE SYSTEM WAS SETUP ON TO AVOID * PROTOCOL ERRORS*

    Power on your race computer only after connection of all of the hardware

        If or When Your Windows PC says its found new hardware or asks / offers to Install a device Driver??

        Be sure to say NO or Click CANCEL to any Windows pop up messages to install new hardware or drivers

        PLEASE "Cancel to Abort Windows effort to install it's own software driver files."

          The Plug & Play RACE  COORDINATOR SLOT CAR TRACK RACE SOFTWARE Set Up CD will offer you a "popup window" 

          which will provide the proper driver software installation. Just click install and it will handle software driver install 

            for you automatically for your windows version.

    Insert the installation CD into your PC CD-Rom drive

        The Race Management Software installer on the majority of PC's will auto-run, however if it does not, browse the CD and double

        click the "RaceCoordinator_v*.exe" file to run the installer manually

        The installer will install .NET 4 as a software bridge if need be including the hardware drivers.

        Please make sure to accept the install, including accepting un-certified drivers and such. 

    YOU WILL BE ASKED TO INSTALL OUR DRIVERS   click OK    for our driver pop up messages ONLY >>>

    ** You will need to click "X" to close the driver installer popup window for the RMS set up to continue **

         The installer will auto-configure the RMS for you. However you must give it permission 

         by clicking "Auto Configure" button of the pop up message.If this is the first time you've installed 

         Race Coordinator, one track name will be listed in our pop up windows it is selected by default, 

         simply click "Auto Configure" the installer will do the rest. IF you see more than one track name 

            Please select the track name we provide and Click Auto Configure!

        IF you have a 32 bit system ... 32 bit drivers will be installed by our driver software 

        IF you have a 64 bit system  ... 64 bit drivers will be installed by our driver software

        IF the Com port is NOT found Automatically ...you will configure that software setting manually.  

         The CD "Must Watch Video" shows you how to exactly!

    Once installed and configured correctly you should be ready to race. 

    Race Coordinator provides example race driver names. Give them a try and have fun! OR customize your own.
